Psychotherapy Services

Personalized service for our patients is the hallmark of our practice, and while our team is small in number, we are big on focus.

SilverTree Psychology is proud to partner with RowanTree Psychotherapy.  Below is a synopsis of the quality of care and respect you will receive from RowanTree Psychotherapy.

What Is Your Style of Therapy?

Every single one of our patients receives and attentive and comprehensive counseling experience. Our practice is a private-pay model and our therapists are not in-network with any insurance companies. Because of this model, we can purposely limit our caseloads and focus more on what matters most: your treatment.

Patient Focused — Your time is valuable, and we respect that. As such, we offer morning, afternoon and early evening appointments, Saturdays for children in school and people who work during the week, as well as extended/double sessions for more intensive work.  But we also understand that the unexpected happens, and if we can reschedule your appointment within the week, we are willing to waive any late cancelation fees.

Prompt & Accessible — Patients have direct access to their therapist.  There’s no receptionist or go-between to intercept or muddle patient-therapist communication. You can expect prompt and timely responses to your questions, requests, and needs.

Complete & Thorough — Utmost priority is placed on comprehensive, quality care.  Ample time is spent with each patient ensuring you are heard.   We are experienced in collaborating and coordinating with other medical providers at your request to ensure continuity of care.

Why Private Pay Therapy Services?

Quite simply, to serve you better. By adopting a private-pay business model, we’re able to slow the hustle of the workday, remain energized and spend more time with our patients, rather than cutting sessions short to do required paperwork behind the scenes.  As they say, you can't pour water from an empty jug, and as such, we hold a deep respect for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

The current insurance model results in clinicians having to manage huge caseloads and work long hours.  Having to see patients back-to-back results in exhausted providers, rushed care, and dissatisfied patients.  This lose-lose situation for both clinicians and patients is why this new approach to mental health care is growing in popularity for clinics and patients alike.  Private pay allows us to offer the individualized services that meet your needs, rather than having a company of business-minded, bottom-line-focused people telling our trained practitioners how to do their jobs, or limiting the number of sessions you are "allowed" to have.  Providers can also offer extended appointment times because they aren’t bound by managed care restrictions.  Further, your confidentiality can be guaranteed, as no third-party has access to your records unless the patient says so!

We limit the number of patients we accept to our caseload in order to provide the in-depth and personalized care that you deserve.  Whether you’re the first appointment of the day or the last, you’ll get 100% from your therapist.  You’ll be consistently treated with respect and kindness.

Types of Therapeutic Services

No two patients have the same background or experiences, and therefore we believe that you should receive services that are chosen specifically for you and your history.  Patients are not nails, and therapists should not be hammers, so we take an "integrated approach" to our work.  This means that if one approach to therapy doesn't seem to be working for you, our therapists are trained in many different styles and therapeutic tools, and as we get to know you, that knowledge will be tailored for your unique history and background.

You can rest assured that the therapists at RowanTree Psychology have a long history of training in various theoretical styles, including: Cognitive-Behavioral, Psychoanalytic, Interpersonal, Object-Relational, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, Behavioral, Narrative, Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), and more.  In addition to our training, we are constantly attending workshops, groups, and Continuing Education courses to make sure that our education and abilities remain top of the field.

We actively encourage our patients to ask us questions about these different types of theories.  It is critical to your treatment that you are an active part of the therapy, and therefore we want to hear your feedback.  If something doesn't feel like it's working, let's talk about it and see what's getting in the way!  We believe that a well-educated patient is one will be most successful in their treatment and we love to provide psychoeducation to everyone that we can.
